Who We Help
Fortified Path supports veterans and former military first responders — police, fire, EMS, and other public safety personnel with a military background — who are facing mental health challenges or substance abuse and have been unable to find adequate support through the VA. If that describes you, or someone you love, we encourage you to apply below.
What Happens After You Apply
Once we receive your application, a member of our team will personally review your situation and reach out to discuss next steps, answer your questions, and talk through what support may be available to you.
Applications are reviewed based on fund availability. Fortified Path is entirely donor-funded, so the number of individuals we can support at any given time depends on the resources currently available. We encourage everyone who may be eligible to apply regardless — we maintain a waiting list and reach out as space and funding allow.
